Interpretation

A documented count is a corpus indicator based on the stated source and scope. It is not a literal total of every superstition in a country and it does not measure how superstitious a population is. The original corpus unit and qualifier are preserved in the dataset.

For source standards, verification rules, ranking rules, limitations and the treatment of Unranked countries, read the Data Methodology.
